My Story

Built from the shop floor, not from a pitch deck

I started as a shop helper in Germany in 2000 — didn't know anything about machining. Worked my way up to CNC programmer, then manufacturing manager. Got my business degree at night while working 12-hour shifts.

In 2007, my wife and I moved to Canada with two kids and eight suitcases. Started over from the machines up. I've spent the last 18 years leading production at a manufacturing company in Alberta.

In 2024, I survived a medical emergency that changed everything. When you almost die, you get clarity fast. I realized the work that matters is helping others — specifically, the small manufacturers who are stuck between expensive enterprise software and spreadsheets that don't scale.

I taught myself to build software the same way I learned everything else: by doing. Now I combine 25 years of manufacturing experience with full-stack development to help shops solve problems that off-the-shelf software can't touch.
